We do not have a cut off time but you please let us know if you expect to take longer than 3 hours 15 minutes to complete the course to allow us to plan for marshal replacements and delay course dismantlement.
We have a lock up full of old medals and have made the decision to actively reduce waste produced when organising our race events. We know how important a medal is to some, but not so much to others, so we have decided to are happy to offer an optional medal for the Trail Half at a charge of £3.50
We are also pleased to be able to offer the opportunity to donate to our local charity partner - Stockport NHS Charity.
This event is being organised under current England Athletics (runbritain) COVID-19 guidelines, as at October 2021. Should these guidelines change, the rules in place on the date of the event will be put into place. It is possible that any new restrictions could result in us having to cancel the race, run it under stricter conditions or revert to virtual at very short notice. Where the race limit is reduced but we can still run the event, we will take the entries in 'first entered' first served' order then offer a virtual option or refund.
We will have prizes for the first three overall male/female, age groups winners in 5 year age bands from age 40 and team prizes (male/female, three to count).
We are looking for some marshals to help make the day go smoothly. If you can help, know someone who can or would like more details please e-mail us at email@example.com .
All our volunteers get either a free (transferable) entry for a future event or we will make a charity donation on their behalf.
Refunds & Cancellations
Individual refunds will only ever be issued at the Race Organiser’s discretion. For a refund to be considered, full details must be emailed to us for consideration within a reasonable time frame of the event.
We do not refund booking fees that were applied on top of the base Entry fee paid. The fees are Third Party charges and as such we do not receive them as part of the race regisitration transaction.
We hold the rights to amend/cancel any aspect of an event at late notice. Cancellation will only ever be a last resort for us, and we will always take direction on event cancellations from government agencies (e.g. the Met Office for weather related incidents) and the National Governing Body concerned, in addition to our assessment of the local conditions.
In the event of any cancellation, if it possible to reschedule the event to a different date in the same calendar year then all entries will be automatically transferred to the new date. Deferrals and transfers will be permitted for the rescheduled event.
Where an event cannot be rescheduled, committed contractors will be paid and remaining funds will be offered as partial refunds.
