A half marathon trail race, along the picturesque Middlewood Way and Macclesfield Canal. Perfect as a challenge in it's own right or ideal as part of your preparation for an Autumn marathon.
The race will be chip timed, a staggered start will be in operation under runbritain COVID-19 guidelines and to relieve congestion on the Middlewood Way.

The start/finish is on the Middlewood Way at Wood Lane, Marple, Stockport, Greater Manchester, SK6 7RE. The Race HQ will be nearby where there will be toilets, refreshments and parking. There will be food and drink available at the finish (subject to COVID restrictions)
Numbers and timing chips will be provided on the day.
There will be no entries on the day and entries will be limited to 500.
There's no cutoff time but let us know if you expect to take longer than 3 hours 15 minutes to complete the course.
This event will be run under England Athletics (runbritain) COVID-19 guidelines. Social distancing and hygiene measures will be in place. The considerations are outlined here - please read before entering.
We will have prizes for the first three overall male/female, age groups winners in 5 year age bands from age 40 and team prizes (male/female, three to count).
